Job Tasks

  • Design, plan, execute and analyze projects and experiments, reporting to the CSO and working in collaboration with adjacent teams
  • Develop and optimize different downstream processing (DSP) processes
  • Perform product analytical analyses and investigate molecular mechanisms
  • Lead scale up activities
  • Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Prepare and present results (rigorous laboratory notebook, reports, presentations…)
  • Manage and mentor junior members

Required profile

Education & Experience

  • Degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology, biological engineering or related disciplines + years experience: PhD +1-3; engineering/master’s degree +4-6; undergraduate degree +6-8
  • Experience in recombinant protein purification and characterization (ideally including SDS-PAGE, NATIF-PAGE, Western Blot, protein dosage, mass spectrometry, HPLC)
  • Experience managing/mentoring team members
  • Speak English professionally, ideally speak some French
